Who I am

Guilherme de Mello

I'm Guilherme, an Italian-Brazilian iOS Engineer who moved from Brazil to Ireland in 2024 and never looked back. I live in the Irish midlands with my wife, and most of our weekends have involved a car, a map, and another stretch of coastline worth the drive.

Away from Swift, I'm usually cooking, somewhere deep in Tolkien lore, or chasing the next idea for an app. I hold Italian and Brazilian citizenship, speak English, Portuguese and Italian fluently, and I genuinely like building and living between cultures — I think it's shaped how I work as much as anything technical has.

    Shipping consumer apps end-to-end; production AI via the Anthropic Claude API (FoodLens, Jornada).
